This page has been inserted to enable Clubs, Referees and Table Officials to understand the constraints in place when young players, under 18, are participating in practice sessions or a game.
Non-compliance with these requirements will lead to restrictions being applied.
A Self-Declaration Disclosure Form is included below which you will need to complete and forward, a DBS flow chart supplied by Basketball England for confirmation and an information sheet complete with contact details.
The Safeguarding Policy issued by Basketball England is provided below. You are advised to note this paragraph extracted from the policy:
All individuals including players, match officials, coaches, administrators, club officials and spectators agree to abide by this policy as well as all other Basketball England policies. All such individuals, by participating or being involved in Basketball under the jurisdiction of Basketball England, are deemed to have assented to this and as such recognise and accept their responsibility to be aware of the relevant principles and accountabilities.
