Do women read this web site? Have not had any responses to my query about how women would like to see their game progress in the county. |

Jon - your problem may be the tip off time as it overlaps with Leicester Cannons and Coalville Cougars. If you were to publish the home games that need covering someone may come forward. |

Really disappointed by the total lack of support from the so called basketball community in Leicestershire. Hinckley & Bosworth Lady Hoops were looking for help to support our entry into Womens National League Basketball and have had just one person offer to help at 2 of our games. We are representing womens basketball at the highest level of the game we can in our country. It was surely not too much to hope for some support. |

Leicester Cobras two squads have back to back home matches this Sunday (20/9/09). The Cobras 1st team have their second home match of the season against the very strong Lothian Phoenix who are travelling down from Scotland. Lothian just beat the Cobras in the 2nd Division North last season, so the Cobras will be looking to pull all the stops out to beat them. Tip off time for the 1st team match is 1:30 pm. Then Cobras 2 have their first match of season against the Phoenix Flyers. The Flyers are a very experienced 3rd division side so it should be a tough match for the Cobras 2 squad, a lot of which are new to wheelchair basketball this season. Tip off time for the 2nd team match is 3:30 pm. Entry to come and cheer us on is FREE. If you have never seen the thrilling sport of wheelchair basketball you are guaranteed to enjoy it. So come along this Sunday and support the Cobras in our bid for 1st division and 3rd division success. For more details check out the Cobras web site on www.leicestercobras.org.uk |
